These were my worlds when little Chloe came to me and told me that she has gum in her hair. I was a little sad at first…I am the parent who is ALWAYS saying no to gum. I think that the little kids don’t need gum!! Do they really have bad breath? Yeah right and I made my point that day that the kids aren’t aloud to have bubble gum until they turn at least 10 years old!! Do you think that I’m crazy?
Chloe was sad to think that we had to cut it out!! She has been growing her hair out like Reponzel’s for quiet some time now. She was in tears knowing that tomorrow was here first day of school and wanting to wear it down and long, but now dad had to trim it up!
How did this happen? On our drive home of course the kids asked for gum…I always hesitate but seem to find myself giving in. Mason an hour of chewing me decided to put in down in the cup holder of the back seat…she laid her head down to take a nap and woke up with it stuck in her hair.
Dustin tried “oops” be gone stuff and it didn’t hardly touch it so we had to do the worse and cut it out!! After wards it did look great and she said see mom it really wasn’t all that much hair, i thought it was going to be up to my ears.

I hate when that happens- gum is the worst! Both of my girls have got it in their hair once each. Rubbing peanut butter in their hair has always gotten it out. Hopefully there will be no next time but if there is, try peanut butter! I hope all is well with you!!- Heather
We have fad that happen before. NOT fun! Peanut butter worked for us too. :)
A moms worst nightmare, I would say! Im glad that you didnt have to cut too much! If it ever happens again, hair moose works to get it out! Just rub some in and comb from the top of the gum and work it out slowly! I know, too little to late, but for next time! Heaven forbid!
LOL oh Chloe! That is so funny! Did you guys try peanut butter?! that worked for Kesley's hair! Good thing we did your pictures when we did huh! I will be posting them this week sometime. I am almost all done with them so I can send them to you also this weekend!
