ThE CoUNtdOwn...

The countdown begins...I have only 4 days left till my 1/2 marathon...I have all the nervous jitters, the anxiety, racking my brain...can i really do this??? Have I trained long enough??
This last week of training thinking, why can't i run 10 or 12 miles this short distance crap is throwing me so off! I do so much better if I don't think about it and just run run run! It has been a huge sacrifice on me and my family! I have been training for over 6 months now and thanks to my hubby and close friends who have help me out so many times to get me to this long time goal that i have had for years!
I honestly feel great and have found a LOVE for long distance running! It therapeutic, it's rewarding and it's a great stress reliever and i always feel so good after I'm done!
I have talked to many of you that have done it and keep me thinking so positive about the whole experience...so thanks to all who keep me motivated to get through it. (I know you know who you are)! Honestly so many times i have wanted to quiet!
I'll keep you all posted on how it goes. know that I'll have a prayer in my heart hoping that I'll cross the FINISH LINE in one piece!
good night, April

100th day of school...

Mason and his buddies were so excited to dress down and wear fun stuff and have a celebration for the 100th day of school! I just thought it was pretty cute!! He also made this cute sign...what a sweet heart! He was asked to bring 100 of something to share and he choose gum drops. Just something to remember in Kindergarten. We love you Mason!
