HALF MARATHON
This was one of the hardest things that i have even done...I rate it right up there with child birth!

Some of my random thoughts/feelings:
rewarding
emotional
tired
many tears shed along the way
great cause
fulfilment
reached a goal
addicting
gratifying
Over all it was a great experience and couldn't have done it with a better running partner...A. Pearce! What an inspiration she is too me! Love your guts!
Way to go and pulling me through the last few miles and just telling me that I could do it!

All in all it was for a great cause, a family out in Queen Creek, AZ lost their daughter to cancer and so in remembrance of her and many other children that face challenges of this kind they sponsor a run to donate all the money to help families in need! I truly feel that I helped out in a small way but I'm sure that it will mean a lot to receives it on the other end! It was more then a marathon for me it was one of those experiences that will leave a mark on my heart forever!
If any of you are thinking about doing it i say go for it! Read up on it and set your marks high! We owe are amazing hubbies for all the LONG hours we were gone and being so supportive! I think he finally caught the magic of it all towards the day of the big run!

April you are such an inspiration to me. I had no idea that was the run you were doing. Having lived in Queen Creek for those 3 years I have always wanted to do there 10K. We had actually had alot of people from our old ward down there do the 10k and 1/2marathon too! I am so glad that you were able to do it! What an experience to have. Thanks so much for sharing!
Way to go April! What a great accomplishment. I really admire you. I would love to get into walking/running, but think I need a good pair of shoes first. We will see. :)

Hey future hot mama (althought you already are Mrs. Photogenic)!!! So your hubby sacrificed to let you train for this big day BUT he also got the great reward of having a beautifully-toned wifey and sane mommy!!! So we all win, right??!!
woooo hooo! April you are awesome! What an accomplishment! I wish I could say I mounted something like that! I have a goal to do that one day too, it's just finding the time to do start. You amaze me... Four kids, busy life working and playing mom...It truly is inspiring. I am proud of you! Dustin better realize he married wonder woman!

Ryan ran the half and we both couldn't walk up the stairs very well for a couple of days! :)
BTW, The park we took pictures as a family was in Tucson! Pretty huh?

April April April! I am so beyond proud of my friend! Your bringing tears to my eyes! You have stretched and stretched and look what happened! Your family must have been so proud when you came across that finish line! It has to feel good to know you did it! Love you girl and WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!
