It's true... my mother for those of you who know her, has ovarian Cancer. After a series of testing a few weeks ago and things came back pre-cancer they sent her biopsy to CA to do some further testing. She found out on Friday that things didn't look so good and the testing came back positive. It was a lot of big words that she couldn't pronounce and then she did a fare amount of research herself. After nurse called her and told her the news, she was having such a hard time with it. She then called all of us kids and dealing with it has been a little hard. To think how bad is it? How fast is it spreading? will a hysterectomy remove all the cancer? Does she have to go through chemotherapy and will she loose her hair? So many questions and no answers yet? Her Dr. is out of town until Tuesday. As I know more I'll keep this updated! Hope your weekend was a good one.
Remember those we love.... hold a littler tighter and keep them in our prayers!

Oh, that is terrible news. I'm so sorry, April. Cancer is so scary and I'm sure you're feeling really thrown for a loop right now. You are a strong woman, though, and I know your mom is too. You can make it through this! I love you and will keep you and your family in my prayers!
April, I am so sorry! BOTH of my parents have had cancer. One had Melanoma and the other Lyphoma (sp?). So I know what you are feeling. Your family is in my prayers. Hang in there.
I will keep your mom in our prayers too. You guys will get through this. Sometimes the lord gives us challenges that make us stronger. You will grow from this. Keep the faith!! I hope the best outcome for your mom!
